Name Tile with daughter and granddaughter names

This is the second one I made for them. I glad I saved the file from the first one. Hopefully my precious granddaughter won't knock this one off the counter. lol. Sorry for the flash reflection.

EBook Reader Cover

I made this cover for my Sony Book Reader.

Granddaughter's Night Light

I made this night light for my 3 (almost 4) year old granddaughter. She loves it and makes everyone that comes to their home come to her room and look at it. My daughter and I did her room in fairies and butterflies and I'll show those pics soon.
The background was done with oracle transparent glitter vinyl. I love the stuff and have to drive over to their local store and get some more of it. I got this piece as a sample from their website.
The butterfly and leaves svg can be found here

The font is Harlow Solid Italic.

Thanks for coming by to look.  Have a great day.

Don't you love great craft blog and sites?

Hey. Have you been to SNR? It is such a cool website. Not only are there great ideas for scrapbook pages,  you can get plenty of ideas for cards and journals. They also have a sketch of the week to inspire some new ideas for your pages. If that’s not enough they show a different font each week so you can get some ideas for new ones. I just download the Happy Days that I wouldn’t have know about if not for going to this site. OOOH! They give suggestions for recycling as well. Like showing how to make flowers out of old pages from books and my fav, recycling containers like milk containers to make embellishments, with the idea of embossing them. I can spend quite a bit of time there looking at all the great things. (No I don’t work for them just really enjoyed the site and wanted to pass it along. )
Oh yeah, and here’s the link  http://www.scrapbooknewsandreview.com
While I’m at it another blog I like is http://www.birdscards.com   she shares many free Digi and cut files. There are so many kind bloggers out there that are so generous and kind.

Granddaughters Birthday Card

I don't know how it happened but my precious granddaughter Mandi just turned 14! Where does it go?
Well, thought I would show you the card I made for her. The image is a Kenny K of course. Colored with Copics.
The oval was beige and I gave it a quick spray with Antique Ink. The flowers and lace are from wild orchid crafts.
Here's the link for the Happy Birthday ticket. There are others there with it. http://creativitybug.blogspot.com/2011/05/featured-freebies-for-week-of-may-30th.html

Western Welcome Tile

Hi All. Thought I would make up a Welcome Tile and living in the desert in Arizona it just seemed right to have a Western Theme. I hope someone else has a need for this. It's a little tricky getting the cactus on the edge and you may want to cut it off and do it separately.  Thanks so much for taking a look. If you like it I would love if you left a comment and let me know. It's sooooo encouraging. :)

Father's Day Card and SCAL file for Scalloped Shutter Card

I hope everyone is having a Great Memorial Day weekend. Yesterday was fun. Hubby and daughter and I took the 3 year old granddaughter to the Memorial Day Parade. She had so much fun and we had so much fun watching her. I think her favorite is the Marching Band. That and firetrucks (she calls them fireworks) lol.

So, on to todays project. I made this card for my hubby. I should have spent more time on the decorating but I wanted to get the file posted so if anyone needs it. I know there are a lot of shutter card files but I had trouble finding one with scalloped edges so I made this one. I hope it comes in handy for some of you. Thanks for coming by.

Heart file with design

I was just fooling around on SCAL and came up with this. I cut a shadow out of white paper to put behind the design. You can do that or just let the background paper show through. I hope it can be of use to some of you.
Thanks for looking .Get the scut file here http://www.box.net/shared/9x82abtthc

Mothers Day Card for my Sis

Hi. Thanks for stopping in. Hope you are having a great day. I wanted to share the card I made for my sis. I gave her a gardening image to go with the Bear I painted for her yard at her cabin. I wish I knew who all the images were done by that I use but when they are downloaded that info wasn't there and I have so many I don't remember. I love this one though, she so sassy. lol The card info is the same as the previous one so I won't bore you with them again.

Here is the Bear I painted and a close up of his nose that I did with alcohol inks. I think he's such a cutie. I'd love to know what you think.

Have a great day.

Mother Day card for MIL

This is the card I made for my MIL. I gave it to her with the tile I had in a previous post. She loves antique dolls so I thought this was perfect for her. This also has the flowers and corner from Wild Orchid Crafts and the card components in the previous post. The flourish and heart are from SCAL basic shapes. I was in a hurry the Saturday before Mothers Day, but next time I Have to take time to do some chalking or inks. lol.
Thanks for looking! Have a great day.

Mothers Day card

Hi. Thanks for coming by. I hope you are having a wonderful day and had a great Mothers Day.
I wanted to share the Mothers Day Card that I made for my daughter. She is a single mom and I'm very proud of her. She finished dental hygienist school last year, has bought her own home and is a terrific mother to my 3 year old granddaughter. I made her a plague with Aubrey's handprints on it but forgot to take a pic of it.
The image is an Elizabeth Bell. It's called Little Repunzel. I adore her stamps and this is one she has in digital. I'm all about instant downloads. lol. The hearts and flourish are from the basic shapes in SCAL. The flowers and corner is from Wild Orchid Crafts. I'm giving you the svgs for the other components. My card is 6x6 so you may have to adjust them for your card.

Tile for my MIL

I have made quite a few things lately but I've been so busy I haven't posted them. I need to try to catch up.
What a crazy week this last one was. I will try and get a few more things posted this week and hopefully a file or two. In the meantime I made this tile for my dear MIL. She loves butterflies so I hope she will love this. It is for Mother's Day.

Thanks for bearing with me. The link to both files is fixed now if anyone wants to get them. I was blaming tech difficulties but it was actually operator error. lol. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Problem with files

Sorry you can't access the files. I'm doing something wrong with them and need to work on it.Should have it fixed in the next few days.

Wine Glasses

My sister recently had a golf event and needed some glasses to give out so these are what we came up with. They have names that are etched and the other decorations are made of vinyl. Sis said they were a big hit with her golf buddies. The best part was doing them with my sister. She has never been too big on crafting so it was lots of fun.http://www.box.net/shared/xlfzqj91va

Party Hat SVG

First Post. Finally!

I have been planning to do a Blog for a long time. I actually started the design for this one months ago. I hope I do better with posting than I did getting started. I have been intimidated about doing this at all. I will be posting mostly about my crafting but there could be a post on occasion about where I live, what I saw that was inspiring to me, my family, ( a grandma has to brag right?), or who knows what, I have been know to take pictures of food, lol. You'll just never know I guess. lol. I plan to have fun and I hope you have fun when you are here and that you come back. There could be an occasional free svg from time to time too.
I won't be posting a craft today, but if you want to check out the slide show you can see a little of what to expect, although there will probably be a lot of cards and scrapbooking and tiles over other things I do. So...., here's to me and you, I hope you talk to me on occasion, I'd love that. Without further ado and with a shaking hand I'm gonna hit that publish post button.
